Text via Huffington Post. “The 2010 National Geographic Photo Contest attracts thousands of imaginative and amazing photos from around the world. People can still submit their photos in three categories — People, Places, and Nature — until November 30. The first-place winner in each category will receive $2,500, and have their winning photograph published in National Geographic magazine. One grand prize winner will receive, in addition to the first place prize, $7,500 and a trip to National Geographic headquarters in Washington, D.C.”
